Double nominee Selena Gomez found herself blushing at the Golden Globes after host Nikki Glaser cracked a joke about her relationship with new fiance Benny Blanco.

AceShowbiz - During her opening monologue at the Golden Globes, 40-year-old Nikki Glaser poked fun at the newly engaged couple Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco. She said, "A double nominee tonight for Emilia Perez and Only Murders, and she's here with her new fiancé, Benny Blanco. And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish."
The joke caused Gomez and Blanco to laugh awkwardly. Selena was blushing as Blanco sweetly kissed Gomez on her shoulder, which prompted Glaser to add, "Man, lucky guy."
The comedienne also joked about Gomez's film, "Emilia Perez", saying, "I loved it so much... I think it is without a doubt the most audacious, groundbreaking film to ever autoplay after Is it Cake."
Gomez and Blanco, 36, have been romantically linked since June 2023. The 32-year-old singer and actress announced their engagement in December, but no wedding date has been set yet. Blanco said in aninterview that Gomez made the first move in their relationship.
