"I know you!" Fanning exclaimed upon seeing Gilchrist. "You walked in, and I was like, 'Tracy!' " Gilchrist jokingly responded, "Like, holy s***. This [interview] better be good." Chalamet chimed in, "It's an honor talking to you. I feel, like, sort of starstruck."

Gilchrist informed the actors that she was "holding space" for them. Chalamet extended his finger towards Fanning, who immediately held it in the same way Grande had held Erivo's in the "Wicked" interview.

"There's nothing that we can do that can trump what happened," Fanning quipped, referring to the viral moment between Erivo and Grande.

Gilchrist later spoke about her experience with Chalamet and Fanning to Out magazine. "This viral moment has been the wildest ride of my life, filled with so much laughter and joy," she said. "But this moment with Timothée and Elle was hilariously surreal."

Gilchrist added that she was also starstruck being in front of the two actors, but that they were both incredibly warm and welcoming. "It was an unexpected, adorable, and hilarious moment," she said. "I feel very lucky."
