AceShowbiz - The music industry has its fair share of highs and lows, and 2024 is no different. Variety recently unveiled its "Worst Songs of 2024" list, shedding light on tracks that have left many listeners scratching their heads and hitting the skip button. The list features some iconic names whose tracks have surprisingly disappointed the masses.

Leading the disappointing pack is Ice Spice with the provocatively titled diss track "Think U The S**t (Fart)," aimed squarely at Latto (Mulatto), and Nicki Minaj's feeble attempt at a diss track "Big Foot", targeting Megan Thee Stallion. Kanye West, alongside Ty Dolla $ign, also landed a spot with "Carnival" due to its "misogynistic lyrical content." Other notable (or infamous) mentions include Katy Perry's "Woman's World," Jojo Siwa's "Karma," and Camila Cabello's "I Luv It."

Critic Bigthony Sadtano, better known as Anthony Fantano, the Internet's busiest music nerd, also compiled his list of musical offenses. Among his top offenders is also "Carnival," featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, he ridicules the track for its forgettable hook and hypocritical lyrics, pointing out that it's perplexing how the song gained traction. He discusses the tiresome chorus and the annoying lyrics, calling the track a carnival indeed, but for the wrong reasons.

Nicki Minaj's "Big Foot" also takes a beating from Fantano. He's particularly critical of the track's poor execution and lackluster insults directed at Megan Thee Stallion. He describes it as an ineffective diss track cluttered with silly schoolyard taunts, complaining that it fails to pack any punch.
