Bullock's public appearance was one of her first since October 12, when she chatted with her two children outside their car. It was also her first major event since the death of her longtime boyfriend, Bryan Randall, in August 2023. Randall had been privately battling ALS for three years.

Bullock's rare outing included wearing a stylish black top with a gold chain necklace and matching earrings, along with a full face of makeup. Although it is unknown if she was accompanied, she was not photographed interacting with anyone.
