AceShowbiz - Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock made a surprise appearance on the "Today" show to celebrate her 60th birthday and share her thoughts on life after losing her partner, Bryan Randall.
Bullock, who turned 60 on July 26, appeared in a video message recorded from her lavish Los Angeles home. She admitted to feeling "too tired" but also described her new decade as "pretty damn great."
Recalling her experience of turning 60, Bullock said, "It's weird because people seem to want us to be afraid of what it might look like. But it turns out it's pretty damn great, it's pretty awesome."
The actress also shared insights into her friendship with "Today" host Hoda Kotb, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday. Bullock credited Kotb for inspiring her to become a mother later in life. "I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children - three children, [Bryan's] older daughter. It's the best thing ever," she said.
Bullock lost her partner, Bryan, to ALS in August 2023. She had dated Randall from 2015 until his death at age 57. Despite her loss, Bullock remains positive and focused on her children.
In the video message, Bullock praised Kotb for her kindness and resilience. "You navigate your kindness, even when that's not what's coming your way. How you are to those you care about and how you keep them safe. And just who you are as a human being," she said.
Kotb was visibly moved by Bullock's message and expressed her gratitude. She also shared that Bullock's encouragement gave her the confidence to embrace motherhood at an older age.
