After his recent arrest for domestic violence, former 'Vanderpump Rules' star James Kennedy has spoken out about his commitment to personal growth and sobriety, offering insight into his plans for moving forward.

In a heartfelt statement shared via his Instagram Story on December 17, the reality TV alum and DJ expressed his dedication to making significant changes in his life.
"I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life," Kennedy wrote. "I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones."
Kennedy, 32, emphasized the challenges he faces but remained optimistic. "Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow, and move forward with the incredible support system around me," he added.
The Burbank Police Department was dispatched to a residence last Tuesday night following an argument between Kennedy and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber. He reportedly grabbed Lewber, lifting her up and throwing her to the ground. Cops did not observe any injuries on Lewber at the scene.
In response to the incident, Kennedy's legal team is conducting an investigation into the allegations. "We understand that there were no injuries, and we are hoping that after careful review, the city attorney's office will decide not to file formal charges," the lawyers told Page Six in a statement.
Lewber has since taken to social media to thank her followers for their support. "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me," she wrote on her Instagram Stories on December 14. "I'm okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time."
Following the arrest, Kennedy was photographed helping Lewber move some of her personal belongings from their San Fernando Valley home to her car. Reports suggest that Lewber has temporarily relocated to an Airbnb, although the couple is still believed to be romantically involved.
Kennedy and Lewber's relationship, which has spanned two years, has been marred by previous rumors of domestic abuse. Despite these challenges, Lewber was seen hosting a holiday party for fashion brand Windsor at the Short Stories Hotel in Los Angeles, maintaining a brave face publicly.
