AceShowbiz - James Kennedy, star of the reality show "Vanderpump Rules", has resumed DJing just days after his arrest on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. On Saturday, December 14, the 32-year-old performed for a packed crowd at The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee.
Despite being removed from an upcoming gig in Dallas following his arrest, Kennedy returned to the decks, smiling as club-goers danced the night away. Videos shared by the venue showed the British reality star throwing his hands in the air.
Kennedy's arrest has resulted in the cancellation of his January performance at Komodo Dallas. He is also no longer listed on the calendar for LIV Nightclub in Las Vegas, as of December 13.
Kennedy was arrested on December 10 after the Burbank Police Department responded to a call about a dispute at his residence. An alleged victim informed investigators that she had been picked up by Kennedy and thrown to the ground.
However, police did not observe any visible injuries. Kennedy was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery upon spouse/cohabitant. His attorney, Scott Leeman, has stated that they are investigating the allegations and hope that the city's attorney will not file formal charges.
Attorneys for Kennedy's ex-fiancee, Rachel Leviss, have blamed Bravo, NBC and Evolution (the companies producing "Vanderpump Rules") for allegedly covering up Kennedy's "long history of erratic, violent behavior and substance abuse."
Kennedy has previously been open about his battle with alcohol and has reportedly been sober for several years. He is currently dating Ally Lewber, who has defended him against allegations of physical assault.
