AceShowbiz - Marlo Hampton is opening up about her beauty choice. During her Instagram Live, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is explaining why black women opt to wear wigs which contribute to their flawless look.

The media personality was doing a Live as she removed her makeup. At one point, she noticed a question that read, "Why the black women wear so much fake hair?"

To the inquiry, Marlo answered, "Because we don't have a lot of hair. That's why y'all be so funny about why black women wear so much fake hair? 'Cause we look fabulous wearing it." She added, "And some of us don't have a lot of hair and it's okay 'cause as longs as there's fake hair, we got as much hair as we desire."

Later during the livestream, the former Bravolebrity further showed how black women look after ditching their glam. "This is what we look like, ladies," she said. "For everyone who thinks that we're always flawless - no. We take the makeup off and guess what? This is what it is."

Upon catching wind of a clip from Marlo's Live, Internet users apparently had a lot to say about the 48-year-old star's remarks, especially about black women not having a lot of hair. "Speak for yourself hunny!" a user wrote in an Instagram comment. Another similarly said, "Don't put your bald headed spirit on everybody else!"

"Who is we???" someone questioned. "What??!! SHE SOUNDS IGNORANT AS HELL," one other noted, while someone added, "YOU don't have a lot of hair .. you do not speak for all of us."

Another user claimed, "I have hair…. I jus don't like dealing with it." However, one fan defended Marlo and dragged the haters. "She definitely said SOME of us comprehension before speaking," the fan pointed out.

Marlo, meanwhile, has yet to comment on the online chatter that she sparked.
