AceShowbiz - On Tuesday night, December 10, James Kennedy attended Kathy Hilton's holiday party with his girlfriend Ally Lewber. While at the party, Bachelor Nation star Nick Viall and his wife witnessed Kennedy "barking orders" at a friend he had introduced as his best friend.
Hours later, Kennedy was arrested at his home on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. The investigation determined it was a domestic incident, and Kennedy was booked and later posted bail. The identity of the woman involved remains unclear.
An insider at the party told PEOPLE that Kennedy had been "acting super aggressive all night long" at Hilton's party. He was seen running back and forth to the bar, body-checking people, and appearing intoxicated.
TMZ reported that a witness saw Kennedy grab the woman during an argument. Officers arrived at the scene but did not observe any visible injuries.
Following his arrest, a witness who attended the party with Kennedy and Lewber reported that the couple had not spent much time together and were not affectionate. Lewber shared a video reading Hilton's birth chart, but Kennedy was not present.
Kennedy's arrest comes weeks after it was announced that "Vanderpump Rules" will be undergoing a major reboot with a completely new cast. Kennedy was a core cast member of the show for 11 seasons.
