An update on Jen Shah's prison sentence, including her recent phone call with Meredith Marks and the possibility of her return to 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'.

AceShowbiz - According to Meredith Marks, her "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" co-star Jen Shah is "doing very well" behind bars. During a recent episode of "Watch What Happens Live", Marks revealed that Shah had called her from prison a few weeks prior.
Marks joked that it was the first time she had received a call from a federal penitentiary. Shah confirmed she was doing well during their conversation, which was recorded and limited to 10 minutes.
Shah is currently serving a six-year prison sentence for defrauding thousands of people in a telemarketing scheme. She pleaded guilty to the charges in July 2022. However, her sentence has been reduced twice, most recently in October, and she is now set to be released from Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas on December 19, 2027.
When asked about the possibility of Shah returning to "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," Marks said the door is open. "We all do things that we're not proud of that are wrong at times," Marks explained. "If she's taking accountability and doing what she needs to do to make it better, that's the best she can do right now. There's nothing else she can do beyond that."
Other cast members, including Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow, have also expressed openness to Shah's return, provided she has demonstrated accountability for her actions. Marks believes that Shah's efforts to make amends, including paying restitution, are a positive step.
