Canadian voice actor Dan Hennessey, known for his iconic roles in 'Care Bears' and 'Inspector Gadget', has passed away at the age of 82 due to complications from Parkinson's disease.

AceShowbiz - Dan Hennessey, the legendary voice actor who brought to life beloved characters like Braveheart Lion on "Care Bears" and Chief Quimby on "Inspector Gadget", has died at the age of 82.
Hennessey passed away in his sleep on November 13 at his home, surrounded by his family. The cause of death was complications from Parkinson's disease, which he had been battling for some time.
Throughout his illustrious career, Hennessey lent his voice to numerous animated shows and films, spanning over three decades. In addition to "Care Bears" and "Inspector Gadget," he is also known for his roles as Father Bear in "Little Bear," RoboCop in the animated series based on the film, and various characters in "Beetlejuice", "X-Men" and "The Raccoons".
Hennessey's family described him as an "incredible son, brother, husband, father, friend, and performer." They praised his contributions to voice acting, saying that he brought comfort to generations of children worldwide.
"His voice will forever be a part of our childhood memories," they said. "We are heartbroken by his loss, but we are comforted by the knowledge that his legacy will live on."
Hennessey is survived by his wife Patricia and his daughters Skye and Eden.
