A comprehensive and authorized documentary on the legendary rock band Fleetwood Mac is in production, shedding light on their extraordinary journey and enduring musical legacy.

AceShowbiz - Apple TV+ announced the upcoming release of a definitive documentary on Fleetwood Mac. Directed by five-time Academy Award nominee and Irving G. Thalberg winner Frank Marshall, the film will delve into the band's 50-plus-year history, featuring exclusive interviews with surviving members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie (before her passing in 2022), Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

"Fleetwood Mac somehow managed to merge their personal lives into their tale in real-time," said Marshall. "This will be a film about the music and the people who created it."

The documentary will explore the band's trials and tribulations, personal resilience, and musical dexterity that have resulted in enduring masterpieces. It will illuminate the unique contributions of each member to their extraordinary alchemy, which has sold over 220 million records worldwide.

The film will also explore the forces that have kept Fleetwood Mac together despite external and internal pressures. "What drew them back together and held them there when every possible pressure threatened to blow them apart?" Marshall pondered.

Produced by The Kennedy/Marshall Company and White Horse Pictures, the documentary will feature never-before-seen footage, archival interviews of the late Christine McVie, and exclusive new interviews.

White Horse Pictures producer Nicholas Ferrall expressed gratitude for the opportunity to produce the film, calling Fleetwood Mac "a musical phenomenon."

The announcement of the documentary follows the creation of official Fleetwood Mac social media accounts, sparking speculation about band activity. However, Stevie Nicks has previously stated that there is no chance of reuniting the band without Christine McVie.
