AceShowbiz - Is Ray J doing OK? The singer sparked concern among fans after he talked about having a meltdown in a recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, and opened up about his suicide attempt.
In the Friday, November 15 post, the "One Wish" hitmaker told his followers that he's going to reveal his own mistakes. "IM ABOUT TO POST ALL MY STUFF ON X!- - SINCE IM HAVING A MELTDOWN IM ABOUT TO AIR OUT ALL MY MISTAKES I MADE AND BEEN MAKING LATELY."
Ray J added that he's planning to take "EXTREME ACCOUNTABILITY" and show "THE WORST OF ME." He later noted that he hoped it "WILL LEAD ME TO LONG-TERM PEACE, STANDBY."
The post came on the same day his appearance on "The Jamal Bryant Podcast" aired. In the episode, Ray J got candid about his mental health issue as he was battling suicidal thoughts. "I've thought about suicide a lot but that was when I attempted it," he said, recalling his attempt to end his life while on a roof in Mexico.
"And I really didn't want to do it but I really did want to do it," he shared. "Because it's like when you have a bad dream and then you think it's real, it feels real. Then you wake up… I be feeling like that life really happened, and so whatever dimension I popped into is where I'm at now."
The brother of Brandy went on describing himself as a "liar" as he's unable to expose truths he knows. "I've lied about my whole life, I'm a liar. Unless I say, 'These people did this to me, the very bad people, and they've been controlling me this whole time.' Just like the National Syndicate [...] They'll come kill me, bro," he said.
He added, "We're dealing with billionaires trying to keep their image clean so they'll do anything to shut down the truth. That's why I've been wearing the [bulletproof] vest lately."
