AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is "thankful" that no one was hurt when Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' homes were broken into last month. "She's thankful that no one was hurt and that neither of them were home during the robberies," a source tells Page Six.
Kelce's mansion was burglarized during his game against the New Orleans Saints on October 7, while Mahomes' residence was broken into less than 48 hours earlier. According to the source, Kelce and Swift were not home during either incident. TMZ reported that at least $20,000 in cash was taken from Kelce's abode.
Swift, 34, was cheering on Kelce, 35, at the time of the burglary. She attended an afterparty with him following the Chiefs' victory.
Mahomes addressed the "disappointing" incident during a press conference, stating that it was something "you don't want to happen to anybody."
The FBI is now collaborating with local police departments to investigate the burglaries, believing they may be linked to an organized crime group.
It is unclear whether anyone was occupying Mahomes' residence at the time of the burglary. His wife Brittany Mahomes and their two children were reportedly not home.
Taylor Swift has not publicly commented on the matter.
