Led by Karol G's longtime producer Ovy on the Drums, the track features a lineup of Colombia's biggest hitmakers. All eight artists, including J Balvin, Feid, Maluma, Blessd, Ryan Castro, DFZM, Karol G and Keityn, contributed to the song's creation.
Over a sticky reggaeton beat, each artist delivers their verse, showcasing the vibrant musical talents of their home country. The accompanying music video, shot in Los Angeles earlier this year, captures the artists' energy and camaraderie in the studio.
"Because in Medellin, I'm like Drake in Toronto," sings Blessd, highlighting the city's rich musical legacy. Known for genres such as salsa, cumbia, vallenato and champeta, Colombia has produced legendary artists like Shakira, Carlos Vives and Juanes. The release of "+57" coincides with the upcoming 25th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, where Karol G, Balvin and Feid are each nominated for multiple awards. Balvin's acting debut in "Little Lorrain" and Ovy on the Drums' first No. 1 single on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart further underscore the Colombian artists' continued success.
