If a new report is to be trusted, Broadway insiders believe that the Australian hunk's ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness divorced him about she found out about his alleged romance with his "The Music Man" co-star.

Deuxmoi reported on Monday, November 4 that Hugh and Sutton's alleged relationship is not a secret to their co-workers. Citing its source, the blog said, "Hugh and Deb got divorced after she found out about Sutton. For the sake of their family, she didn't tell the tabloids."

Hugh and Deborra-Lee shocked the world when they announced their separation in September 2023 after over two decades of marriage. "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," they shared in a joint statement to PEOPLE at the time. "Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."

In October, Sutton filed for divorce from her husband Ted Griffin amid her dating rumors with the "Deadpool & Wolverine" actor. According to Daily Mail, "Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton. Their relationship is not a secret to her." The duo were co-starring in the Broadway revival of "The Music Man", which opened its doors from December 2021 to January 2023.

Now that both of them are single, the 56-year-old actor and the 49-year-old actress are "100 percent together" and "in love," sources told Page Six. Although they strive to keep their relationship discreet, it appears to be "common knowledge," with the same source adding that the couple "want to spend the rest of their lives together."

"They spend all of their free time together," another source told the site about the rumored lovebirds. "They are a regular couple, they are just in private." The source said that to stay under the radar, "they sneak around."
