AceShowbiz - GloRilla addresses her relationship with JT in a new interview. During a sit-down with Ebro Darden on Monday morning, November 4, Glo claimed that she's not feuding with the one half of City Girls despite their back-and-forth online.
"Me and JT are actually cool," GloRilla told Ebro. When the host suggested that fans were the ones fueling the feud, the "F.N.F." femcee agreed as she said, "That's kind of the situation that we had. It was the fans."
Further addressing the matter, the hip-hop star continued, "It was super unnecessary, it was really fueled by the fans. And I see that with other artists. The fans always try." Glo noted that she always tried to step back once she noticed that fans started making a narrative online.
Upon catching wind of Glo's interview, fans apparently had mixed responses. Slamming the raptress for blaming fans for her drama, one wrote in an Instagram comment, "Fueled by fans, yet you still entertained it? Ok."
"They love blaming the fans. Glo literally ran with that tired narrative," another user echoed the sentiment. One other pointed out, "Glo said she hit her with her purse thats how the problem started. Not the fans."
Someone else added, "I love ya Glo, but blaming the 'fans' is a cop out. The fans didn't even know that you and JT had a scuffle backstage at the awards show. Y'all brought that out on Twitter."
Some others, meanwhile, agreed with Glo. "It's the people want those ladies beefing," one penned. Another said, "Most Celebrities Fans Are Underage Children So I Can Definitely Believe That!"
Tension between Glo and JT started after the former allegedly slapped the latter for ignoring her at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. They fueled the rumors when Glo appeared to shade the CMG rapper on her song "Aite". "I just pray one day the bad b***hes would come together/ 'Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f**kin' records/ Me and JT ain't the best of friends but we ain't beefin'/ Know bi**hes always havin' [animosity] that they keep a secret," so she raps.
In response to that, JT fumingly wrote on X, "I been said she didn't! She the one went radio silent!" JT wrote. "Played into, released a song about slapping rap b***hes now it's female unity?? CORNY!!!!!"
"I guess she was waiting on her tape to address & who gone clear up going viral for slapping someone when the whole hood believed it! It was on brand!" JT continued in a separate tweet, prompting Glo to reply, "H** shut yo dumb a** up & fix dem [ugly a**] wigs I said it ain't no beef ho you da one with da secret animosity."
When Glo claimed that she mentioned JT's name to clear the air, JT wasn't buying it. "OMG you are a liarrrr! B***h you didn't hit me with s**t FANNED out a** b***h you approach me sounding like an old beat up box Chevy 'WHAT UP GANG,' " JT fired back at the time.
"I'm the most supportive b***h ever with receipts!" she continued. "But some where in a b***h air a** head I'm their competition! Out of ALL these b***hes who d**k you ride you wanna pick me as your enemy L O S E R!"
