AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato, who has made up her mind whom she is supporting in the 2024 presidential election since months ago, could not wait any longer to cast her vote. The singer/actress reveals that she has voted early for Kamala Harris.
On Sunday, November 3, just two days before the official Election Day, the 32-year-old took to her Instagram Story to share that she has voted. She posted a selfie of her wearing a black T-shirt featuring Harris while pointing to a pin on the shirt, right above her chest. She added an "I Voted" sticker atop the picture.
Lovato joined fellow former Disney Channel star Selena Gomez, who has cast her vote early for the Vice President. On October 28, the "Wolves" singer went to the ballot box to drop off her election ballot on the way to the premiere of the new Disney Channel series "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles.
"You can't go to the premiere without voting," Gomez cheerfully said while heading to the box with an envelope in her hand. Looking gorgeous in her red gown and matching shoes, she made sure her ballot was properly safe inside the box before she left. She also posed next to the box, showing off her red purse with "I voted" pin.
Lovato previously voiced her support for Harris in July after President Joe Biden announced that he would not pursue a second term. At the time, she posted a photo of Harris and Biden walking together, expressing her support with the caption, "Let's do this!"
In September, the "Commander in Chief" songstress attended a Harris campaign fundraiser in downtown Los Angeles. At the event, Harris addressed hundreds of donors, including Lovato, Lily Tomlin, Jessica Alba and Stevie Wonder among others.
