AceShowbiz - Madonna took to Instagram on October 31 to endorse Kamala Harris for president in the upcoming 2024 US election. The singer shared photos from her recent trip to Paris, but noted that she had to return home to vote.
"Paris was so FUN! It was hard to leave, but I had to come home to V.O.T.E. 🇺🇸🇺🇸," she captioned the post. She also included a tag for Harris's official Instagram account, writing: "@kamalaharris For. President!!!!"
Madonna is the latest in a series of celebrities who have endorsed the Democratic presidential nominee. Jennifer Aniston, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all expressed their support for Harris.
This is not the first time Madonna has endorsed Harris. In 2020, she supported the then-vice presidential candidate alongside Joe Biden. She has defended Harris against criticism, describing her as "an intelligent, compassionate, well-spoken leader who stands for justice and equal rights for all people."
Harris' campaign has received endorsements from numerous musicians and celebrities, including Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Beyonce Knowles, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and others. Artists like Cardi B and GloRilla are also supporting the Democratic ticket with rally concerts leading up to the November 5th election.
