The 'Family Feud' host, who was previously trolled over his delayed response to Katt's accusations, insists that he's not keen on tearing other entertainers down.

AceShowbiz - Steve Harvey seemingly isn't done firing back at Katt Williams. In a new episode of Vice TV's "Black Comedy in America", the "Family Feud" host appeared to address Katt's plagiarism accusations against him.

In the episode, Steve insisted that he's not keen on tearing other entertainers down. "When did we get into the tear each other down business, cuz you ain't never heard me say not a disparaging remark against another comedian nowhere," he said.

He continued, "We ain't cut from that cloth. So why are you? What is your motive for doing this here?" The comedian said that he chose not to speak poorly of other entertainers despite having plenty of opportunities to do so.

"I don't do that, I don't got no minutes for you, man," he claimed. "I'm not in the tear-down business, I'm in the uplift business."

Steve first responded to Katt's shades during his appearance at Invest Fest in Atlanta back in August. "You'll never have a hater that's doing better than you. Always know that," Harvey told Stephen A Smith at the time. He then jokingly challenged Katt to a physical fight, saying, "I'd knock your short a** out."

Steve, however, was heavily trolled on social media as he took a long time to share his reaction to Katt's February claims. "Steve plz we almost in 2025 you're late," one Instagram user wrote in an Instagram comment.

One commenter noted, "He definitely feels a way. The cursing and name calling shows it. Kat never called that man out his name but he did speak truth. Truth always gets a certain type of reaction, and this is one of them." Another added, "Just go battle for battle on stage with a comedy show with both of them on stage . Give the world a show. May the best comedian win."

During his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast, Katt accused Harvey of stealing his jokes from other comedians. "The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had."

"Now Steve got a sitcom where he is the principal, and he wear a suit. And then he gets this high-top fade, making all black men think he got the best lineup in the business. And it's a man unit. Then you ask him, 'Why you not a movie star?' 'I didn't want to be a movie star,' " he continued.

Not stopping there, Katt divulged, "This the same negro that hated on Bernie [Mac] with this same thing. You couldn't be a movie star. There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country bumpkin black dude that can't talk good…and look like Mr. Potato Head. There ain't none. You have to have range."
