AceShowbiz - Steve Harvey has finally addressed Katt Williams' criticism toward him in the latter's bombshell interview earlier this year. The "Family Feud" host fired back at his fellow comedian during his appearance at Invest Fest in Atlanta.

"You'll never have a hater that's doing better than you. Always know that," Harvey told Stephen A Smith while talking about Williams. He then jokingly challenged Williams to a physical fight, saying, "I'd knock your short a** out."

After the clip of Harvey making the remarks was reposted on Instagram by The Neighborhood Talk, most fans trolled him for his late response. "Steve plz we almost in 2025 you're late," one Instagram user wrote in the comments section.

"the most delayed reaction I've ever seen," someone echoed. "He took all of this time to reply back to justify that Katt was telling the truth the whole time?" another said.

One commenter added, "He definitely feels a way. The cursing and name calling shows it. Kat never called that man out his name but he did speak truth. Truth always gets a certain type of reaction, and this is one of them." Another suggested, "Just go battle for battle on stage with a comedy show with both of them on stage . Give the world a show. May the best comedian win."

Williams came after Harvey among others during his appearance on Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" podcast. Williams accused Harvey of stealing his jokes from other comedians, saying, "The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had."

"Now Steve got a sitcom where he is the principal, and he wear a suit. And then he gets this high-top fade, making all black men think he got the best lineup in the business. And it's a man unit. Then you ask him, 'Why you not a movie star?' 'I didn't want to be a movie star,' " he continued.

He further noted, "This the same negro that hated on Bernie [Mac] with this same thing. You couldn't be a movie star. There are 30,000 new scripts in Hollywood every year. Not one of them asked for a country bumpkin black dude that can't talk good…and look like Mr. Potato Head. There ain't none. You have to have range."
