Bluebell, Goo, Chess Piece and Wasp showcased their vocal talents on 'The Masked Singer' during a Barbie-themed episode celebrating the iconic doll's 65th anniversary.

AceShowbiz - In the October 23 episode of "The Masked Singer", titled "Barbie Night," the Group B contestants performed Barbie-inspired songs before one celebrity was unmasked. Before the performances, panelist Ken Jeong entertained viewers with a comical rendition of "I'm Just Ken." Robin Thicke, Rita Ora and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg also embraced the Barbie theme.

Bluebell, Goo, Chess Piece and Wasp showcased their vocal talents with impressive performances. Chess Piece, who sang "I'm Every Woman" by Chaka Khan, particularly impressed the judges.

After a difficult deliberation, Chess Piece was unmasked, revealing actress and LGBTQ+ icon Laverne Cox. The panelists had guessed Serena Williams, Issa Rae, Tyra Banks and Misty Copeland, but none were correct.

Cox candidly shared her struggles with singing due to past trauma. She expressed her hope that her appearance on the show would help her overcome those fears.

"What was so much fun about tonight is I got to sing and dance like I did when I was a little kid," Cox said. "And it didn't have to be right, it didn't have to be perfect. I just had fun."

Jeong praised Cox as a "role model, a pioneer, and an inspiration." Cox also expressed her pride in representing openly-trans black women with her own Barbie doll. "I'm so incredibly blessed," she said.

The remaining three Group B contestants will face off next week in a double elimination.
