According to the recovering addict, the 'Strip That Down' singer might be in a hallucination state and hearing voices after consuming the substance, also known as Tusi.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has shared his knowledge about one of the drugs that Liam Payne took prior to his tragic death. According to the recovering addict, the "Strip That Down" singer might have struggled to escape voices after taking pink cocaine.

On Monday, October 21, the former professional basketball player revealed what Liam could have experienced after consuming the substance before his sudden passing. Speaking to TMZ, the 44-year-old said, "Drugs could cause you to hallucinate. And if he was in a hallucination state then who knows what would happen?"

About his own experience in taking pink cocaine, which is also known as Tusi, Lamar recalled that it caused him to hear voices. He also confirmed that he previously got "a sense of paranoia" and "people chasing [him]" after consuming drugs.

However, Lamar noted that he is not sure if drugs in Liam's system could cause him to die. He explained, "I mean, to death, I don't know because I was always strong enough to kind of bear down ... There's no exception to not being here, you know what I'm saying?"

The Odom Recovery Group owner went on to elaborate, "If you're hearing voices then, you know, it's hard to escape those voices. So God forbid if those voices tell him to do something that led to his fate."

In the same interview, Lamar sent his prayer to Liam's family members and "those who know him." The former Los Angeles Lakers player additionally reminded others "not to do drugs" and "not to put anything up your nose."

Near the end of the chat, Lamar concluded, "I hope this is a wake up call for everyone in the industry, Hollywood, music, sports, that drugs don't discriminate age, race, color, creed," before stressing, "So hopefully this is a wake up call for everyone."

Lamar's explanation came shortly after Liam's toxicology report was revealed. It showed that the 31-year-old former One Direction singer, who passed away on October 16 after falling from his third-floor hotel balcony in Argentina, had multiple drugs, including "pink cocaine," crack and benzodiazepine, in his system at the time of his death.
