AceShowbiz - Richard Simmons died at the age of 76 on July 13. The fitness instructor and TV personality passed away after he fell a few days before his death as the Los Angeles County medical examiner deemed his death "accidental."
"It was reported Mr. Simmons experienced a fall on July 11 and spent the following day in bed. He was found unresponsive on his bedroom floor on the morning of July 13, and 9-1-1 was called," the medical examiner's office said in August. His cause of death was revealed to be "sequelae of blunt traumatic injuries" and "arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease" which "is a contributing condition."
