AceShowbiz - Johnny Wactor died at the age of 37 when trying to defend himself from thieves. The former "General Hospital" actor was shot to death in the early morning of May 25 after he interrupted three men stealing a catalytic converter from his car. He left work at a rooftop bar with a co-worker when the tragic incident happened.
As the thieves fled the scene, Johnny was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His mom, Scarlett Wactor, mourned the loss of her son in a statement which read, "Grief is my constant companion. I can't wish him happy birthday on August 31- he would have been 38. I can't ask if he's coming home for Christmas. I can't ask how his day went."
