AceShowbiz - Hilaria Baldwin's six-year-old son, Romeo, had a challenging weekend. The mother of seven took to Instagram on Sunday, October 6, to share that Romeo had to receive stitches after banging his head.
Hilaria posted a selfie with Romeo, visibly displaying his stitches, and captioned it, "Romeo banged his head..stitches like a champ." She expressed her gratitude towards Dr. Chris Funderburk for making the experience as painless as possible.
In her Instagram Stories, Hilaria added a playful poll, asking, "Why do these things always happen on weekends?" with the options "I know, right?" and "The universe demons says: happy Sunday!"
Hilaria, 39, shares her seven children with husband Alec Baldwin, 66. Their kids include Carmen, 11, Rafael Thomas, 9, Leonardo Ãngel Charles, 7, Romeo Alejandro David, Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 3, MarÃa LucÃa Victoria, 3, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2. Alec also has a 28-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from a previous relationship.
In a candid discussion with Vogue in September, Hilaria gave a peek into her daily routine as a mom of seven, starting at 5 a.m. and concluding around 8:30 p.m. She emphasized her preference for creative activities over screen time for her children, saying, "Screen time is such a battle for parents these days and I'm grateful for activities that bring out their creativity. Watching them with their little conversations together warms my heart."
Hilaria mentioned that fostering closeness among her children is a key focus, hoping they will remain lifelong best friends. She added, "I hope they will always be lifelong best friends."
On a recent episode of the "Our Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronson" podcast, Alec Baldwin humorously discussed the logistical challenge of managing a big family, noting, "I'm the only person I know who drops four kids off at school in the morning and comes home and I still have three kids waiting for me when I get home."
When asked if he and Hilaria planned to expand their family further, Alec laughed and responded, "Oh man, how dare you ask me that question. I think I'm done."
Reflecting on his career and the joy his family brings, Alec added, "I found that as I got older, work became less interesting to me. I'm interested, you know, I wanna work and I like to work. But they just don't make that many films anymore that I think are interesting. Plus, we're all older."
Alec concluded by expressing his continuous love and admiration for Hilaria, noting that the thought of welcoming another baby always seemed appealing every time their youngest child turned two. "So we have seven kids," he joked.
