AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has finally settled the debate on her alleged plastic surgeries. During a memorable Vanity Fair Lie Detector Test session released on September 30, the 31-year-old pop sensation addressed the swirling rumors about her cosmetic procedures, confirming which ones she has and hasn't undergone.
Grande's "Wicked" co-star Cynthia Erivo played the role of inquisitor, diving straight into the speculation. When asked about a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), Grande humorously shot down the idea with a laugh and an explicit "Get the f*** out of here." She added seriously, "No. That wouldn't work for me. I don't think that's my thing. And I'm OK with that, you know?"
Addressing other popular speculations, Grande flatly denied having a nose job, breast augmentation, or a facelift - though she amusingly added, "Not yet. I'm open." The polygraph examiner confirmed she was truthful in all instances, much to Grande's elation, "This is the best day of my life. Take that you YouTube people!"
One procedure frequently attributed to Grande is the fox eye lift. She didn't know there's such procedure until she's targeted with the rumor, "No, but I discovered it through people who thought I did, and I said, 'Thank you.' " She also denied having a chin implant, jesting about her confusion, "How do they do that?"
Discussing the cosmetic enhancements she had undergone, Grande admitted to having "fillers in various places and Botox," which she stopped about four years ago. She explained her decision in a Vogue Beauty Secrets video, noting, "[I've] had a ton of lip filler over the years and Botox. I stopped in 2018 because I just felt so - too much. I just felt like [I was] hiding, you know?"
Grande reflected emotionally about her relationship with beauty, admitting, "For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me… More hair, more and more, [the] thicker the eyeliner… and that can be so beautiful at times and I still do have love for it."
She emphasized her support for anyone choosing cosmetic surgery, declaring, "Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?"
As she wrapped up, Grande left her fans with a heartfelt message about natural aging, "I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper. And I laugh more and more and I just think aging can be such a beautiful thing."
