AceShowbiz - Harry Styles' sister, Gemma, has revealed her struggles with suicidal thoughts amid her battle with depression. The 33-year-old author and podcaster said she felt "hollow and unworthy" and despite being "extremely private," has decided to share her story in her new book, "Why Am I Like This?" to help others.

She said in an interview, "One of the things that has been proven to have the most positive effect on people who are suicidal or in deep depression is sharing stories where you think, 'That happened to me too. I felt like that and now I'm better.' "

"I didn't actively want to die, but I wanted so badly to get out of what my life had become that it came down to the same desire."

Gemma, who welcomed a daughter with her partner Michal Miynowski earlier this year, revealed that although she is currently feeling well, she fears the depression could return one day. "Sometimes I secretly think that this could happen to me again, but I try not to think about it too much. I've experienced this before and it could happen to me again."

She revealed that 30-year-old Harry is a very practical uncle and even took on babysitting duties for her shoot with the newspaper and came along to look after his niece.
