The raptress, who has been supporting Lil Wayne since Kendrick's Super Bowl Halftime Show announcement, is slammed for not congratulating the 'Not Like Us' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj has disappointed social media users for allegedly treating Kendrick Lamar like trash. The raptress, who has been supporting Lil Wayne since Kendrick's Super Bowl Halftime Show announcement, was blasted for not congratulating the "Not Like Us" hitmaker.

On Friday, September 13, the female hip-hop artist voiced her support for Wayne, who is also known as Weezy, after he was not selected as the headliner of the upcoming sports event in his city New Orleans. Following his statement on the matter, she took to Instagram to show her support.

Nicki wrote a lengthy message that read in part, "This too, shall pass - but what you have done for the Hip Hop culture will remain. It will stand the TEST of time. Many times our greatest & most dehumanizing TEST is just a way for God to get the glory."

After publicly sharing the message, Nicki received backlash for not accepting K.Dot as the performer. Many social media users criticized her, with one writing, "And YET everybody is so evil and dont give flowers BUT neither one of them have actually said Congratulations to Kendrick."

Similarly, another slammed Nicki for allegedly treating Kendrick like trash. The user added, "Never given HIS flowers or credit at any point. At least Lil Wayne got his numerous times. Y'all too sick for me. Kendrick doesn't need to be put down to uplift Lil Wayne."

Nicki's message came shortly after Weezy expressed his disappointment for not being chosen as the headliner. In a video uploaded on Thursday, September 12, the 41-year-old rapper said, "First of all, I wanna say forgive me for the delay." He then admitted, "That hurt, hurt a lot," before calling the announcement "a let down."

The "Lollipop" hitmaker reiterated, "It hurt a lot. But y'all are f**king amazing. It made me feel like s**t. And when I felt like s**t, you guys reminded me that I ain't s**t. That's an amazing reality. So, like I said, it broke me. And I'm just trying to put me back together but my God have you all help me."
