AceShowbiz - Donald Trump is still trying to ride on Taylor Swift's coattails after the singer's endorsement of Kamala Harris. The Republican presidential nominee's campaign is selling T-shirts inspired by the singer's "Eras Tour" merchandise after the pop superstar publicly threw her support for Harris.

The Trump campaign has knocked off the design of "Eras Tour" merch and repurposed it for his own MAGA shirts. The T-shirts, dropped on Trump and J.D. Vance's campaign website on Thursday, September 12, feature a montage of Trump images in the background a la Swift's popular "Eras Tour" imagery, with a centered photo of the former president holding his fist in the air.

The T-shirts, which completely rip off the design of Swift's paraphernalia, feature his name "Donald J. Trump" and his slogan "Make America Great Again." The shirts come in black or white and retail for $36.

Trump's campaign takes a swipe at Swift with the merchandise after the Grammy winner endorsed Harris on Instagram. Shortly after Harris-Trump debate on Tuesday, September 10, the 34-year-old star declared on social media, "I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election."

She explained her decision, writing, "I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

Swift then signed the statement as a "Childless Cat Lady," a reference to Trump's running mate J.D. Vance's controversial comment.

Speaking to Fox News, Trump pushed back on Swift's endorsement for Harris. "I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time," he said on Wednesday. He compared the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer to her friend Brittany Mahomes, saying, "I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, if you want to know the truth. She's a big Trump fan. I like Brittany. I think Brittany's great She's a big, she's a big MAGA fan. Much better than Taylor Swift."

The 78-year-old suggested he wasn't surprised by Swift's lack of support for him, saying, "She's a very liberal person." He added, "She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she'll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace."

On Thursday, Trump said that he will not participate in another debate with Harris, insisting he "won the Debate." Harris later responded by pressuring Trump for another presidential debate, arguing, "We owe it to the voters to have another debate."
