AceShowbiz - On September 8, at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring/Summer 2025 show, Grier Henchy, the 18-year-old daughter of Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy, made her New York Fashion Week debut. The show was held on a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry owned by Colin Jost and Pete Davidson.
Grier commanded the runway in a sleeveless black dress with a drop waist skirt and inside-out pockets, paired with studded flat mules and a statement necklace. Her confident stride and unwavering composure impressed the audience, including her proud mother, Brooke Shields, seated front row.
Shields, adorned in a full Tommy Hilfiger ensemble of a plaid miniskirt, white button-down, and tan trench coat, beamed with pride as her daughter strutted past. Grier's fashion sense has been influenced by her mother, who has shared her wardrobe with her on occasion. Most notably, Grier wore her mother's 1997 ivory wedding dress, reconstructed for her high school graduation.
"It's such an honor when they want to wear your stuff. Normally they don't think I'm cool," Shields said.
Grier's runway debut earned praise from fans and followers, who commented on her poise and resemblance to her mother. The teenager also shared videos of her catwalk on her and her mother's Instagram Stories.
In addition to her mother's support, Grier was cheered on by her father, Chris Henchy, and sister, Rowan, 21. The family has a close bond, and Grier and Rowan recently inked matching stilettos on their arms for Mother's Day.
