AceShowbiz - Remy Ma is not cutting Papoose a slack amid rumors of their marital woes. The female hip-hop star has taken a subtle jab at her husband after he's praised for being a present father to their daughter Reminisce.
On Monday, September 9, Papoose marked his daughter's first day of kindergarten by sharing a photo and video of the girl at school. The proud father also celebrated the milestone by sharing other pictures and clips that highlighted his moments with his daughter.
In the caption, he wrote, "Today #thegoldenchild started kindergarten. My baby been ready! Love you BIG SUGAR!!!! #Mackie."
The post garnered a lot of positive comments, as one follower wrote, "We can definitely tell the mindset of each parent!! Papoose you're a great man I'm pretty sure you'll find your Empress real soon."
Remy Ma, who welcomed her daughter Reminisce with Papoose on December 14, 2018, caught wind of the comment and seemingly disagreed. In response to the glowing comment, she left some laughing emojis and a zipper-mouth face emoji.
Another user praised Papoose for being a present father, writing, "We see who took her to school, outstanding King." Once again, Remy Ma suggested that the post couldn't be further from the truth as she wrote back, "You see what was wanted to be seen but ok."
Papoose has not responded to Remy Ma's shady comments. The raptress herself celebrated her daughter starting kindergarten by sharing compilation footage of the girl dancing and doing other activities.
"I have a Kindergartnen," she wrote in the caption. "@ReminisceMacKenzie is getting so big too fast! My lil GoldenChild is everything tho!!"
Remy Ma dissed her husband amid long rumors of their marital woes. News of their alleged split first surfaced last year, following Papoose's alleged fight with Eazy The Block Captain, who was said to have had an affair with the "Whuteva" femcee.
In July of this year, the 44-year-old artist fueled the speculation as she used her maiden name, Remy Kioni Smith, in a song credit. She used to use Remy Mackie prior to the split rumors. Papoose's real name is Shamele Mackie.
