The late Texas rapper's eldest daughter Jayla uplifts the audience as she explains why she won't be crying over her father's passing, while her younger sister wipes her tears next to her.

AceShowbiz - BeatKing's daughter uplifted fellow mourners at her father's memorial service. Embodying her father's playful energy, Jayla delivered a moving speech that brought laughter as she explained why she wouldn't be crying over her father's passing.

At the service held on Thursday, August 29 at the Bayou City Event Center in his hometown, Houston, Texas, Jayla began her eulogy by introducing herself as BeatKing's eldest "and favorite" daughter. "When I talk about my dad, a lot of people expect me to start crying but he was way too goofy, too annoying to just cry over," she said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, her younger sister Kayla, who stood next to her, was seen wiping her face. "He would not want to to cry over him. So, I always make sure I keep a smile on my face at all times because I know that's what he would want me to do," Jayla explained.

She continued joking that her father's death would be hitting his favorite restaurant the hardest. "I know all of us here are very devastated with his passing," she said. "But I just know personally nobody could be more upset than Whataburger. Without him, Whataburger will be going bankrupt, probably. The cheeseburger-eating, chocolate shake-drinking person has unfortunately passed and is in a better place now. And he's with all of us spiritually."

BeatKing's death was first revealed by his manager Tasha Felder on Thursday, August 15. "Today, Aug. 15, 2024, we have lost BeatKing," she wrote. "BeatKing has been the best part of the club for over a decade. He has produced and worked with so many artists that his sound will forever live." Felder added, "He loved his daughters, his music, and his fans. We will love him forever."

One day later, Tasha said that the rapper died from a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot in your lung that creates a blockage, at a Houston hospital. "He was at an Urban One (Radio One) station doing a morning takeover when he suddenly fainted," her statement read. "He was taken to a near by hospital where he later passed away. His daughters were with him the entire time. It is truly sad, we loved him so much."

Nearly one week after BeatKing's passing, his girlfriend Talameshia posted a heartbreaking message on Instagram. She wrote, "I've questioned life. I've doubted my strength through this. I haven't been eating. And barely sleeping. I don't know how im functioning. I'm crying because I know he was ready. He was happy. He was loved."

"This has to be the hardest thing I've ever had to do," Talameshia lamented. "Was watch you leave me. I fought and fought but GOD wasn't letting up. I know you're with your Mom , and finally moonwalking with our favorite, Michael Jackson."
