The 'Easy' songstress was arrested on May 30, 2023, in Miami Beach, Florida after speeding and weaving in and out of traffic at Washington Avenue in her Mercedes-Benz G550, commonly known as a G-Wagen.

AceShowbiz - Bodycam footage from DaniLeigh's DUI hit-and-run incident has emerged. In the clip, the "Easy" songstress was seen crying while begging police no to take her into custody.

Released on Friday, August 23, the clip showed police approaching Dani's car after she finally stopped. "Did you hit a scooter," the officer asked, to which she responded, "No."

The officer then directed Dani to exit the vehicle before handcuffing her on the spot. "I'm an artist," she told the cops while being led away. "I'm a R&B singer and you're trying to arrest me. What's going on?"

The police then questioned a witness who gives a description of the incident. At one point in the video, however, Quavo randomly showed up, asking the cops what happened. He and his crew were later told to vacate the area and he complied.

As for Dani, she did field sobriety tests, which she failed. Thus, she was placed under arrest. She broke into tears while being told she was going to be taken to jail, saying, "I didn't hit nobody."

Dani was arrested on May 30, 2023 in Miami Beach, Florida. She was driving a Mercedes-Benz G550, commonly known as a G-Wagen, down Washington Avenue, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.

Police said Dani then hit a man on a moped near 11th Street and continued without stopping or slowing down. According to eyewitnesses, multiple people attempted to get the 29-year-old's attention to let her know she was "dragging the moped," but she didn't stop. The crash happened just outside Miami Beach police headquarters.

Dani managed to avoid jail time though. She was sentenced to five years probation in February of this year after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge as well as one count of DUI causing serious injury, which is a felony.
