AceShowbiz - 50 Cent will never really leave Sean "P. Diddy" Combs alone. The "In Da Club" hitmaker couldn't help but react to news about his nemesis being slapped with a defamation lawsuit by a drug cartel member.
Taking to Instagram, Fif shared the headline of a News Nation article, "Diddy sued by Sinaloa cartel member for allegedly ruining drug business." He captioned the since-deleted post, "Ok, I have seen it all WTF is going on here."
The lawsuit was filed in May by a man named Alfredo P. Gonzalez, who has been imprisoned in the Centennial Correctional Facility in Canon City, Colorado. He claimed to have received a phone call in 2021 from one of Diddy's "business partners" saying that the rapper "was wanting to set up some business deals with the Sinaloa Cartel."
Alfredo also accused Diddy of making requests for international underage sex trafficking. The plaintiff asked for $666,000 in damages, but Chief US District Judge Laura Taylor Swain already dismissed the case on August 12.
As for Fif, he recently addressed Diddy's legal drama when speaking on his decision to produce a documentary about his longtime foe. "I'm the only person in hip-hop culture that has produced any hit television. Why wouldn't I be the person to produce it?" he said in an interview with Us Weekly. "And I'm not on the tapes."
"See, some of the people who have been around in the culture who are not saying anything-that's because they've been to the parties," the 49-year-old claimed, "[and] they don't know what part of their experiences are on tape. So it keeps them quiet and it looks like I'm the only guy, but I've been [saying] for years that something's not right."
