Bruno Mars' highly-anticipated return to Los Angeles christened the grand opening of Inglewood's Intuit Dome with a spectacular performance, featuring a surprise appearance by Lady Gaga.

AceShowbiz - Bruno Mars made his triumphant return to Los Angeles on Thursday night, August 15 performing a sold-out show at the newly-opened Intuit Dome. Having recently completed a string of Las Vegas residencies, the superstar captivated the audience with a three-hour setlist featuring all his greatest hits.

The evening concluded with a surprise duet with Lady Gaga, who appeared on stage to perform their new song, "Die With a Smile," which was released only minutes before Bruno Mars took the stage.

Despite a technical malfunction with the venue's app, which resulted in a slight delay in entry, the concert proceeded smoothly. Mars' performance was flawless, with barely any pauses and a constant high energy that kept the crowd on their feet throughout the night. Amidst the gig, he acknowledged a medical emergency in the audience at one point and signaled for security to attend to the situation.

The concert taking place at the Intuit Dome, a $2 billion state-of-the-art facility, was attended by an array of celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Kelsea Ballerini. The venue is equipped with a double-sided Halo Board scoreboard, five basketball courts, and an 80,000-square-foot plaza.

In his opening remarks, Clippers chairman Steve Ballmer acknowledged the potential for technological hiccups, but urged attendees to bear with them. Despite a minor app malfunction at the entrance, the festivities were not significantly disrupted, and Mars went on stage close to his scheduled start time.

The concert's setlist included crowd-pleasers such as "24K Magic," "Finesse," "Treasure," "Billionaire," and "Uptown Funk." Mars engaged with the audience throughout the performance, joking about the app issue and expressing his gratitude for their support.

"We're making California history," Mars said to the audience. "Thank you for being here with me."

The Intuit Dome will host a series of upcoming events, including concerts from Olivia Rodrigo, Usher, and Billy Joel.
