Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan's relationship has not been without its hurdles as the couple is hit with breakup rumors following mixed reactions to her latest single.

AceShowbiz - Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan sparked romance rumors when they first crossed paths at Paris Fashion Week in September 2023. By December, they were seen having dinner together in Los Angeles and "soft launching" their relationship at a Grammys afterparty in February this year.
In March, Keoghan supported Carpenter at her concert in Singapore and made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. They were also spotted together at the Met Gala in May and Keoghan threw a party for Carpenter in Brooklyn.
However, their relationship faced recent challenges when Carpenter's single "Please Please Please" provoked backlash due to what some fans interpreted as an offensive lyric targeting Keoghan's Irish heritage.
The controversial line, "Whatever devil's inside you, don't let him out tonight, I tell them it's just your culture and everyone rolls their eyes," drew criticism from Irish fans. Responding to the controversy, Carpenter clarified in a Variety interview that Keoghan was "obsessed with the lyrics" and expressed immense pride in his involvement in the music video.
DeuxMoi recently reported that the couple had broken up, but Keoghan seemingly dismissed the rumors by liking Carpenter's latest Instagram post. Reps for both Carpenter and Keoghan have not commented on their relationship status.
