AceShowbiz - While Stephen Curry came out victorious at the 2024 Paris Olympics, his wife Ayesha Curry didn't have the best time during her stay in France. The Canadian native was brought to tears during a standoff with French police.

On Sunday, August 11, a video circulated online of the actress getting involved in a tense face-off with police on the street. The TV personality, who was in the City of Lights to cheer on her husband as he willed the U.S. to a victory in Saturday's final game, was seen in the video wiping away tears while she was joined by her mother-in-law Sonya Curry as well as her children.

They were surrounded by several policemen while Ayesha carried her baby son on her chest and held the hand of her elder child. Sonya, meanwhile, was seen yelling at the local authorities, who wouldn't let them go their car.

They appeared to be stuck in gridlock traffic due to French President Emmanuel Macron exiting the area. An interpreter at the scene then helped Ayesha and a furious Sonya understand the situation. The man said the police apologized for the inconvenience, but for security reasons no one was allowed to cross the street before the President passed.

Stephen's Golden State Warriors teammate Draymond Green was also present at the scene and can be seen at the end of the video. He was heard snapping at the authorities, saying, "So even after y'all hit the baby in the head, there's still nothing y'all can do to get them out of here?" However, the policemen remained adamant on their stance that the family had to stay put until the end of the video.

Ayesha has not addressed the heated encounter with the local authorities. She, instead, chose to keep her positive spirits as she celebrated Team USA's gold medal win by reposting her husband's Instagram post on her Story. "Yall gone get this Gold Medal Content! #nuitnuit," Stephen captioned his photos with his teammates with their gold medals following the Saturday game.
