AceShowbiz - Halsey almost got into an accident. A new video saw the 29-year-old "Without Me" singer nearly got hit by a truck when she tried to cross New York City street on Wednesday, July 10 when she filmed a music video in the city.
Obtained by The U.S. Sun, the video featured the singer crossing a street with a group of people. The singer was stepping off the curb and walking into the street while talking to her friends.
When she got about halfway through the crosswalk, cars started to beep, prompting Halsey to freeze in the street. Thankfully, a man, seemingly a bodyguard, who walked in front of her reacted quickly. He got her back to the sidewalk to make her safe as a truck passed where she was standing.
Halsey then waited until it was safe for them to cross the street. The "Could Have Been Me" songstress later exited a subway station, where she filmed the music video.
In the alarming video, Halsey was wearing a short multi-colored dress. She paired her vibrant outfit with a long bright pink hairstyle. The star also put on black slip-on shoes with butterflies on them while having a pink purse on her shoulder.
The music video filming came after Halsey made her first red carpet appearance since revealing her lupus diagnosis. She hit the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of her new film "MaXXXine" at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday, June 24.
For the outing, Halsey donned a sparkling gold skirt set with a sleeveless, crop top and cutouts at her hips. She completed her style with big curly hair and a sultry cat eye.
The "You Should Be Sad" singer opened up about her health issues earlier that month. "In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder," she explained. "Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life."
She added, "After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I'm feeling better and I'm more grateful than ever to have music to turn to."
