The 'You Should Be Sad' singer makes her first red carpet appearance since revealing her lupus diagnosis, channeling her inner character in the upcoming film 'MaXXXine'.

AceShowbiz - Halsey, the 29-year-old pop star, graced the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of her new film "MaXXXine" at the TCL Chinese Theatre on June 24. The event marked her first time attending a red carpet since publicly sharing her lupus diagnosis on June 5.
Accompanied by her "MaXXXine" co-star Mia Goth, Halsey channeled her character Tabby with a sparkling gold skirt set and a sultry cat eye. The film, which is the third installment in the "X" franchise, follows adult film star Maxine Minx as she pursues fame in 1980s Hollywood.
Halsey's health struggles have been a recent focus for her fans. On June 4, she hinted at health challenges while promoting her new single "The End". The next day, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
"I realize everyone is catching up with news I've held in for a long time," she wrote in an Instagram post. "In 2022, I was diagnosed with both conditions. Both are being managed or are in remission, and I will likely have them for the rest of my life."
Despite these challenges, Halsey expressed gratitude for her health improvements and her return to performing. "After a rocky start, I'm feeling better and I'm more grateful than ever to have music to turn to," she said. "I'm ready to get back in front of the crowd, where I belong."
