Contrary to the buzzing reports swirling on the internet, Sean 'Diddy' Combs being dropped by Hollywood top law firm has nothing to do with the Mother Monster.

AceShowbiz - Despite initial reports, Lady Gaga is not the reason Sean "P. Diddy" Combs was dropped from the powerhouse law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks (GSM&S). According to a spokesperson for the firm, the decision to part ways with Combs was made by the partners several months ago, which was confirmed by another source close to the star.
GSM&S, which represents some of the biggest names in entertainment including Lady Gaga, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Lil Nas X, The Weeknd, Madonna, U2, and Drake, was reported to have dropped Combs due to pressure from the pop star, according to an insider who spoke to NewsNation. However, this claim has been denied.
"The decision to part ways with Mr. Combs was proactively made by the partners in the firm a number of months ago as they felt it was the right thing to do," the spokesperson for GSM&S stated. "The report that the decision was the result of client pressure just isn't true."
Combs has been embroiled in several lawsuits following damning allegations against him. Despite his denial, security footage showing the star assaulting then-girlfriend Carrie later surfaced. GSM&S was reportedly concerned about the potential damage to its reputation.
Lady Gaga has been with the firm for over 20 years. Initial rumor suggested they were worried if Gaga left, other major clients might follow suit. "Lady Gaga said she was leaving [the firm] if they didn't drop Diddy. And she's too big to lose," it was previously claimed. But a source close to the singer refuted the claim, "That convo never happened."
Despite the firm's decision, Combs and GSM&S remain on good terms, according to sources. Combs even visited late legendary lawyer Allen Grubman's Hampton home before his relationship with the firm deteriorated.
