AceShowbiz - Farrah Abraham's legal battle with a Hollywood hotspot Grandmaster Records won't be ending soon. According to new reports, the "Teen Mom" alum's trial in her assault case has been postponed after a failed case management conference.
The hearing was necessary to determine how the assault accusations would have been handled. However, the reality star and her legal team reportedly skipped the June 16 conference.
New legal documents obtained by RadarOnline.com stated that Farrah and her rep had reportedly been notified about the hearing date in January. Now that they were absent, the case will not appear before a judge until August 15.
Farrah was arrested in January 2022 for allegedly slapping a security guard named Megan Yakita Armstrong during an altercation outside Grandmaster Records. An eyewitness at the time said the reality star was asked to leave the club because she was belligerent, but she refused.
Farrah, however, has repeatedly maintained her innocence. "I'm tired of being maliciously battered, attacked, conspired against while having dinner at Grand Master Records," she fumed during an interview with E! News. "This was a private person's arrest."
Farrah also posted videos of the incident on her Instagram account. Taking to her Story, she raged, "I will never understand sexism & sexist hatred. To all the men who wish me wrong I give it to the 1 who created us all. I CARE FOR MEN & WOMAN EVERY DAY EQUALLY."
"Why is a male on top of me holding me down when I was walking. This is scary and he should be fired and in jail for [battery]," she captioned a clip of her being pressed face down by a man. "I'm tired of people harassing me, holding me down, hurting me and [lying] about me … it's scary, it [affects] mothers, it is traumatizing and I'm hurt."
