AceShowbiz - Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin reportedly have done a good job in maintaining their relationship. It was revealed that the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress and the Coldplay frontman are "going strong" after facing "ups and downs" in their romance.
Recently, a source shared an insight into the 34-year-old actress and the 47-year-old singer's relationship. Speaking to PEOPLE on Tuesday, June 11, the source spilled, "They've had ups and downs, but now they're definitely back on."
The revelation came a few months after Dakota and Chris were last spotted together. In February, the two went for a romantic getaway in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. In pictures making their rounds online on February 20, she could be seen enjoying her quality time with her singer partner at a beach in the country in North America.
Some of the snaps captured Dakota and Chris soaking up the sun while gazing at the breath-taking view of the beach. They were dipping the lower part of their bodies in the water as they held hands and stood close next to each other.
Another photo saw the "Madame Web" actress and the singer wrapping towels around their seemingly wet bodies near a beach-side lounge. She was later photographed watching him and smiling as he attempted to place a chair closer to the water. Once he was done, he was pictured reading a book on the chair while she appeared to be sleeping.
Recently, Chris made an appearance at his son Moses Martin's high school graduation. At the special event, the proud father was accompanied by his former wife and Moses' actress mother, Gwyneth Paltrow. In the meantime, Dakota was noticeably absent. She had filming commitments in New York City for her upcoming movie titled "Materialists" with her co-star Chris Evans.
Dakota and Chris, who have been keeping their romance low-key, started dating back in 2017. In March, it was revealed that the perfect pair had been engaged. The actress has an amicable relationship with his ex-wife Gwyneth, whose divorce from the singer was finalized in 2016. Aside from Moses, the former couple shares daughter Apple together.
