AceShowbiz - Bow Wow has threatened fellow artists who might have borrowed his money. The "Shortie Like Mine" rapper, who recently teased a new album following a long hiatus from music, said that he will start revealing the names of those artists who owe him some money.
Recently, the 37-year-old hip-hop artist called out those who have nor returned his money. Making use of X, formerly known as Twitter, he penned, "Yo! yall think 50 gotta long list of rappers owing hiM MONEY??!!!"
Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Gregory Moss, went on to claim, "IMA START NAMING RAPPERS THAT OWE ME AND BEEN RUNNING OFF WITH THE PAPE FOR 3 yrs!" He further warned, "Don't let that like mike s**t fool you! I WANT MY MONEY!!!! ima start naming u n***as."
It did not take long for a screenshot of the tweet to be reshared by DJ Akademiks on his Instagram page. Along with the photo, the disc jockey explained, "Bow Wow says he's gonna start naming the rappers that owe him money."
The post prompted social media users, most of whom were left confused by Bow Wow's remarks, to roast the "Like You" spitter. In the comments section, one in particular curiously asked, "Lmao bro what artist is borrowing money from Bow Wow," adding a smiling face with tears of joy emoji. Another chimed in, "If you owe lil bow wow money you oughta be ashamed of yourself."
Meanwhile, a third reminded others by writing, "We still remember that photo of you pretending to be on a pj when you were flying commercial lol." As of Friday, May 31, the comment has received more than 2,000 likes. A fourth, in the meantime, joked, "Kevin from lottery ticket dun went broke, now he want it all back," before letting out a slew of laughing emojis.
That aside, Bow Wow previously announced that he is working with Chris Brown to make new music. On May 29, he teased a major collaboration with the R&B star. Taking to X, he tweeted, "Bow Wow x Chris Brown... June 2024."
