AceShowbiz - The Combs remain solid amid the patriarch, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs', legal issues. Christian a.k.a. King Combs has attended his sister Chance Combs' graduation ceremony, while their father reportedly skipped it.
On Thursday, May 30, the aspiring rapper showed his support for his younger sister by taking to social media to film the 18-year-old at the graduation ceremony. He appears to be holding a bouquet of flower while filming his sister, who walked across the field in her academic regalia.
"Yeah Chance! I see you Chance," King shouted, cheering on Chance from afar. "Oh she graduated," he added while zooming in on his sister, who was dressed in a black robe and cap. "That's crazy." Over the video, he wrote, "@myfancychance congratulations," adding a red heart emoji.
King shared the clip hours after it was reported that Diddy did not plan to attend his daughter Chance's graduation from Sierra Canyon School in the Los Angeles area on Thursday. While other family members were flying in for the ceremony, the embattled hip-hop mogul opted to sit out the event, according to TMZ.
The 54-year-old father of seven had reportedly communicated this news to the family, although he did not offer any exact reason for his absence. It, however, wasn't surprising considering the Bad Boy Records founder's ongoing legal issues. His family members reportedly understand that he wants to lay low and tries not to steal the spotlight from his daughter Chance.
Chance, whom Diddy shares with his ex Sarah Chapman, isn't his only daughter who is in high school. His twins Jessie Combs and D'Lila Combs, whom he had with his ex Kim Porter, are juniors who went to prom earlier this month, but Diddy also missed the event as he remains in Miami.
The twins were previously reported to remain supportive of their father amid his legal drama. The teens were "rallying behind their dad" during this difficult time as they still believe that he's "a good guy" and "what's happening to him right now is totally unwarranted," a source told TMZ in March.
