AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage status has been the subject of recent speculation. Amidst rumors of marital problems, Lopez made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of her new Netflix film "Atlas" on Monday.
Despite the rumors, Lopez arrived at the premiere wearing a band on her left ring finger. She posed for solo photos and with co-stars Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, and the film's director, Brad Peyton.
Meanwhile, Affleck was notably absent from the event, which came two weeks after Lopez attended the Met Gala without him. TMZ reported last week that the couple had been living separately for nearly two weeks, with Affleck staying at a home in Brentwood.
A source told Page Six that Affleck believes "there is just no way" their marriage "is going to work." The source added, "He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."
However, a source close to the couple told People that they are trying to work things out, despite their differences in how they handle public attention. "They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention," the source said.
Despite the speculation, neither Affleck nor Lopez has publicly commented on the rumors. Lopez recently "liked" an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships, while Affleck was spotted without his wedding ring over the weekend before putting it back on for an outing with Lopez and their blended family.
