AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck is seemingly following in Jennifer Lopez's steps. The "Gone Girl" actor was pictured house-hunting alone in Los Angeles, just days after the actress/singer did the same in the city.
Sources told Page Six that Ben is trying to look for a new place in the City of Angels. The "Argo" star was seen driving his sports car in Los Angeles' Brentwood, California neighborhood.
However, Ben seemingly hinted that everything is okay with his marriage to the "Jenny on the Block" singer. The 51-year-old star was seen wearing his wedding ring when he dangled his left hand out of his car window.
TMZ, on the other hand, claimed that Ben has been living in a house around the neighborhood amid rumors that Ben and Jennifer are heading for a split. The actor allegedly has been staying at the Brentwood home “over the past week or so," while Jennifer lives nearby.
The new report came after the couple was pictured reuniting amid ongoing speculation about their marital troubles. On Thursday, May 16, the power couple appeared together in Los Angeles for Fin Affleck's school play, reinforcing their dedication to family amidst personal upheaval.
The couple attended Fin's school production, marking their first public appearance together in seven weeks. Ben's son Samuel and J.Lo's child Emme also joined them. "When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss," noted an insider to the Daily Mail, further fueling rumors about their strained relationship. "Ben did not look happy to see J.Lo."
Another source, on the other hand, claimed that the duo's commitment to their children remains the same despite their alleged issues. "Nothing would have stopped them coming together for the kids," the insider added.
Prior to this, Jennifer sparked separation rumors when she was spotted house-hunting in Los Angeles without Ben. Instead of the actor, the multi-hyphenate was accompanied by a female friend, who seemed to be longtime producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, when exiting one of the opulent homes on Tuesday, May 14.
