Jennifer Lopez Goes House Hunting in L.A. Without Ben Affleck

The 'Jenny from the Block' singer is also seen having an intense phone call after taking a look at new mega mansions in Beverly Hills with a friend, instead of her husband.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez is looking to make another big purchase. The 54-year-old singer/actress has been spotted house hunting in Los Angeles after purchasing a luxury mansion in the same city last year.

On Tuesday, May 14, the multi-hyphenate stepped out without her husband Ben Affleck to go house hunting in Beverly Hills. Instead of the actor, she was accompanied by a female friend when exiting one of the opulent homes.

She looked effortlessly gorgeous in an all-white outfit consisting of an oversize sweater that at times slid off one of her shoulders, white pants and enormous hoop earrings. She also wore sunglasses and tucked her hair behind her ears.

Her companion, who appears to be her longtime producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, trailed J.Lo down the steps of the grand entrance. She was dressed in a black jacket, black pants and boots while carrying a black sling bag. She also protected her eyes from the sunlight with dark shades.

Jennifer and her female friend were later seen entering the same silver car, which was parked outside the house.

After looking at the house, the former "American Idol" judge appeared to have an intense phone call. Seen outside, she was walking back and forth while holding her phone in her hand and speaking animatedly as she appeared to put her phone on speaker mode.

Despite the tense phone call, the "If You Had My Love" seemed to be in good spirits. As she returned inside a building after speaking on the phone, she flashed a smile to paparazzi who were following her.

Jennifer and Ben, who rekindled their romance in 2021, 20 years after the first proposal, were married in Las Vegas in July 2022. They held a wedding celebration for family and friends at his Georgia home in the following month.

Following months of house hunting, the couple finally found their new nest last year. In 2023, they bought the $60.85 million, 46,000-square foot abode they currently live in. It's unclear if they have issues with their current mansion, but the pair were also spotted house hunting in New York City last month.
