AceShowbiz - Kimora Lee Simmons has pledged her support for two of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' children amid his legal issues. The model has promised that she will always be there for Jessie James (II) and D'Lila Star as their father is facing numerous allegations against him.
Met in New York City on Thursday, May 9, the fashion mogul gave an update on the twins following the federal raids on the rapper's homes. She told TMZ that the twins are doing "great" and "being fabulous."
"I love them so much, and I have their back," Kimora declared. She added, "They're just beautiful and I love them so much," before stressing, "And I have their back always and forever."
The Baby Phat founder, however, brushed it off and nervously laughed when asked about the sexual assault allegations, lawsuits and federal investigations against Diddy. "No, no. I don't know about all that," she responded. She continued with a laugh, "That's a lot. I only know my kids."
Kimora was best friends with the twins' late mother Kim Porter, who died of pneumonia on November 15, 2018 at age 47. The late model also shared a son, Christian a.k.a. King Combs with Diddy, while his son Quincy Combs, who was born from her previous relationship with Al B. Sure!, was adopted by the hip-hop mogul.
Meanwhile, Jessie and D'Lila reportedly remain supportive of their father in the wake of the raids by the feds. TMZ reported in late March that the teens are "rallying behind their dad" during this difficult time.
Citing sources with direct knowledge, the site claimed that the girls "don't think he deserves having his life turned upside down." Though they're allegedly left "dumbfounded" by all the allegations against their father, Jessie and D'Lila still believe that he's "a good guy" and "what's happening to him right now is totally unwarranted," the sources added. The girls "are standing by him, and don't think he's done anything wrong," according to the sources.
