Late Friday, April 6, Kimora shared a video on her Instagram Story of a mother panda bear aggressively grabbing and flipping her cub over a railing, with the caption "On my last nerve right now!" This is widely interpreted as a reference to her reaction to the photos.
A source has reportedly confirmed to PEOPLE that Aoki and Assaf are indeed dating, having met while vacationing in St. Barts. Aoki seemed to acknowledge she became the talk of the town in an Instagram Story post where she stated, "Errr well now I know why folks were calling me."
Despite the PDA, Aoki has played coy on her relationship with Assaf. During an Instagram Live chat, she claimed she was on the trip with "friends."
While Aoki's mother seemed exasperated by her latest hookup, her father, Russell Simmons, expressed his support for her in an Instagram post, stating, "@aokileesimmons Love you always im always waiting for any call any time [love emoji]."
Assaf was previously married to model Charlotte Bonstrom, who left him in 2021 for her twin sister's ex-husband.
